Load-leveler shocks are designed to provide
added strength to assist sagging rear suspensions when towing or hauling.
These shocks are load bearing and can increase load carrying capacity by
an additional 1,100 lbs (load carrying ability is limited by vehicle suspension,
tires, and transmission).
Load-leveler shocks do not require
adjustments, as they are self-leveling. These
shocks feature a variable rate spring and aluminum
collars for increased stability.
Note: Load-leveler shocks are sold as a
pair and are listed as such in our Online Catalogs.
Note: Newer trucks with a Height Sensing Brake
Proportioning Valve or Height Sensitive Electronics
(most notably ABS brakes) may not be suitable for
load-leveler shocks, as they may compromise the braking
and safety of the vehicles.
